10,000 Round Test, what do you want to see tested next?

So we're 6300 rounds through the WK181 with the rifle heading to a 4000 round party in Calgary & Edmonton before hopping all the way to New Brunswick and then Ontario for even more rounds.

We're starting the testing of the BCL Siberian tomorrow (fingers crossed the firing pin arrives in time)

But what do you want to see tested next?

- The latest M10X?
- The Crusader Templar?
- R18 Mk2?

Let us know what you want to see tested first and whether you want to be involved

^ Agreed. The WK181 already proved it's point. I read your review, great work. I always wondered what the difference to the 2nd gen WK180 is, thanks for explaining it.

Since we're wishing for things: I'd rather see 4 of each rifle tested hard with 2500 rounds, than a sample of one tested to 10,000

:)

Unfortunately 2500 rounds doesn't give you the indications or proof of mechanical longevity that we need to show people. Yes some people only shoot 100 rounds a year but a good enough number of people shoot a couple thousand or more that it's worth us showing them wat they're getting.

Also for every person asking us to do more there's very rarely someone offering to contribute said thing so while we'd like to the cost of getting another 3x WK181s isn't within our reach

I'd be excited to see all 3 of those tested, might as well do them in that order.

BCL Siberian. As I mentioned on another thread I would do it myself but I'm already heavy with WS-MCR and WK-180 rifles :)

**Edit- I guess I missed the part where you already said you were going to test the BCL!! Oops Laugh2

I'll put your stuff on my read/watch list for the weekend.

I'm of the opinion that round count in itself may not be a great indicator of mechanical reliability. I'm sure one can casually shoot many many thousands of rounds through a rifle over the years and not experience a hard malfunction. On the flip side, burning through 500-1000 in a few hours is a whole different ballgame.

They do conduct high and low rates of fire it's in their

Once you hit 20k rounds with the 181 I'd love to see how a plain old Sks, type 81 and the m&m compare at a 20k round threeway head to head. We all know the Sks is a tank but I'd love to see a direct comparison between the guns using all the same caliber. Direct apples to apples to see how the 181 stacks up and which is the best 762x39 range blaster.

Judging by how many members my range has and how deserted it is many times, I would say that most people do not shoot a lot or not at all. This is especially valid for handguns since club membership is mandatory. But I have yet to see people who are shooting a lot. I am sure they exist, just not many.
