Ok thanks for all the info. I think I'm going to pick up at 12.5" Dlask. What are people running on the threads? Just the thread protector? Ive seen they make some brakes and compensators. Its pretty standard threading right? So in theory i could put like a .223 brake on there right?
Thanks
Jon
they all run the standard 28 1/2 threading that every 22 and 223 (5.56) that ive ever seen runs.
so very standard threading.
the comps are a sickness unto themselves.
you can get the factory ones and you can even get custom made ones out of the states.
i must admit i went through a phase of getting custom made ones myself.
i still smile when i look at my comps.
for visual aid see below.
this is a 8.5" Dlask barrel with a custom comp on it.
i wanted it long enough to get past the stock as i had a shorter one on it and found the stock was getting a lot of powder on it.

18.5" Dlask barrel running just a plain Dlask linear comp.
