So I've been working on improving my 10/22. So far I have a Magpul Hunter stock, and a Green Mountain Barrel. I want to put a good scope on it but the standard rail feels like a piece of junk and a bit too short for longer scopes. Should I buy a Dlask Arms Picatinny rail, or just get one of their receivers with integral rail? Will a fancy receiver make much difference?

Rail ($35):

Receiver with integral rail ($220):

ive got both the receiver and the Dlask rail on another 10/22.

their rail is a solid rail, not like those $8 ones you can get on Ebay or BassPro.

id say get the rail and try it out, if it fills the need you wanted you get off cheap.
if you still want to get more aggressive with your build then you can go with the receiver.

*wonder if i have a pic of that rail on my photobucket.......*

yes i did, here is the Dlask rail on a RIA knock off.
