Hello everyone, I'm planning to buy a barrel shroud, and ventilated hand guard for my little ruger, along with a short flash suppressor.
Does anyone around here happen to have any of these parts on there 10/22's?.
I'm just curious as to how they look and would appreciate it greatly.

If you're doing it to look cool... fine. If you're doing it for performance... forget it. The flash supressor/compensator is useless on a .22.

The other parts... personally, I think they just add weight and make it look retarded. ;)
 
Nah im not doing it for performance just wanted to make it look different.
I have a hard on for the mini 14's even though I do already own one. I just thought it would look cool to have a ventalated hand guard, and such on the little ruger.
 
I agree. I have had a compensator on my barrel before and it didn't do a thing for accuracy. I was actually more of a bother to have because I got really dirty and I was difficult to get it 100% clean.

I wanted to get the kit with the 8 inch bbl, as far as I know they are not available in that configuration any longer.
I do not want one with the fake can on it.
