Wow those prices at TT shooter are pretty good. Too bad he's in the states though.
There are alot of things that can be done for sure! Thats the fun in this.
The easiest is to drop the $30 or so, go with the VQ hammer and call it a day. The results from this are... ok.
The hardest is to stick with factory parts and work them till you get what you want. (What the above link is selling) I started to get the hang of it around rifle number 6 or so. Its the hardest way for sure, and if you are paying someone to do it, its not the cheapest way either.
If you are impatient, and have money to spend on it, you could just buy a competition trigger mech from a company like Kidd, or VQ.
Here's what I figure is the middle ground. Go to the brownell's website and search for this item number. 713-000-071
If it was my first build again I would go this way. I think its a good balance of money and time costs. And you will certainly be happy with the results.
You might just have fun installing it all too. If you are leary about it and are in lower mainland BC I dont mind helping.
As for limits for trigger pull on a 10/22... Every time I go under 2 pounds, things get finicky. My last build got down to 1.75 lbs but I cant say I could do it again. It varies from rifle to rifle it seems and I think my last one might have been rather exceptional.
There may be aftermarket maufcturers who's re-engineered products go lower, but thats a completely different ball of wax. If that is what you are looking for, your income puts you out of my realm of knowledge!
