10/22 Archangel Nomad OAL Question

Hi All,

Looking to purchase this kit from Wanstalls however my 10/22 is the compact version.

Ruger lists dimensions as follows
barrel: 16.12"
OAL : 34.0"

Im concerned that with stock folded i may not make required 26" OAL as required

My question is has any members purchased this kit for their 10/22 compact and have the dimensions? or anyone know the oal of standard length barrel in this kit so i can do the math?

It'll be too short by an inch ..My dlask 16.5 without a flash hider is too. Short by a half inch. With it comes to 26.1 inchs

Very easy to render stock unfoldable, just remove stock and pop out stock latch then use a 45 acp case in place of spring!
This should meet over all length requirements..

It will be too short however if you affix the flash hider they provide the folded length will be over 26 inches so you will be good to go.

People say it does, but I am unaware of any basis in law. OAL length is OAL length, not over all permanent length. Other wise regular buttstocks would have to be permanently fixed to the receiver.

Sure they can. If you have the appropriate licence.

What you are thinking about is the barrel length. In the case of rimfires, it can be any size you please (if it so comes from the factory).
