10/22 barrel

Where's my best bet to buy a heavy barrel for a 10/22 in SW Ont, or Mail order. And what can I expect to pay?

They don't get much heavier than the Dlask .920 bull barrel. I find it too heavy for a non-bench gun so the Tactical Solutions Xring from Wanstalls is next.

I got my SS Fluted Green Mountain Barrel from Bits of Pieces in BC. $240 to my door if memory serves me correct. That was a few years ago too.

Get a Dlask barrel... I have a dozen or so, and I have shot barrels from just about every manufacturer... Dlask are as good as any... If you don't want extra weight, buy one of their stepped barrels or a shorter length... I have four of their 12.5" barrels and they are excellent... You can expect it to cost a couple hundred... You could also check Fab Sports, he had some Kidd barrels in 2-3 weeks back... The were around $200 also.
