i was just in at the gun center in kitchener asking about target barrels for the 10/22 and they said that they aren't allowed to import ANY 10/22 acessories anymore no mags, no stocks nothing. just wondering if its just them, or if you cant buy this stuff anywhere in canada (other than online). thanks for your help

Most gun shops aren't getting any because "of high US demand" plus there is stores in Vancouver are having difficulty getting their paper work in place. So they jacked there prices up on the remaining stock.

That's the info I got too... LeBaron in Montreal no longer carries the Butler Creek 25-round mags, it says 'no longer available' in their catalogue. So I went to a store called Dante (just a few clicks further away) and the salesman there actually called his supplier right in front of me to find out... The supplier replied that 'these mags are illegal' to import, apparently as per the new US export rules. Seems like Obama's administration is helping US economy already... right. 
I ordered two 25-round steel lips mags from P&D for 45$/each and the package has to be picked up tomorrow at the post office (real fast shipping from these guys). 45$ is a fair deal for something that's about to become extinct in our beloved country... yet another liberty gone in the name of global dictatorship.
On another note, I ordered two original (10-round, black) 10/22 mags from the US 8 days ago and they've been shipped (ordered from HawkTech Arms @ 14$/each - they have US prices on all 10/22 parts and free shipping to Canada, lol!). Now let's see if my mags get here...
EDIT: My 10-round mags from the US made it. I found them in the mailbox today... so if high-cap are illegal to export, I guess that by their standards high-cap is at least more than 10 rounds. Although it only said 'machined parts' on the customs declaration... so that may be why.

I just got two 25 round steel lips from Rimfire sports out of the U.S. with no problems . $35 each U.S. but free shipping . Might have to order a few more if they are gonna be real hard to get. They will ship most anything up here just no barrels or receivers . Got my V.C. trigger group and have the V.C. cnc bolt coming too.

word. I got a ton of different small parts and 3 BC steel lips from Rimfire Sports. It took like 3 weeks to get them, but I got em....I also recently recieved a barrel and stock from Bits of Pieces....
My stuff was about the same I got it in about 2 1/2 weeks . They called the trigger group a trigger guard because I don't think they are allowed to ship otherwise. Most of these shipping laws are so stupid anyways . What criminal in his right mind would wait three weeks for his gun parts then have to build his new gun before he can go rob the 7/11.
