10/22 Bolt stop

I've ordered a bolt stop for my 10/22-AR15 project. The bolt stop comes with a modified mag which is required for the stop to work. I haven't recieved it yet. I'm going to need to modify my high cap mags and need to know if anyone can tell me how to do this. I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out as soon as it arrives but why reinvent the wheel.

If its the Custom Shooting Technologies one, you might buy one of their mags and then use it as a template to modify yours.
