I Have a BC Barrel on my rig and it works quite well. I can shoot postage stamps groups at 25 yards without trying all that hard. My factory barrel would have not even been cloe to this.....Just remember, don't , I repeat DON'T buy the so called "carbon Fibre " barrel - It is a POS !!

which ones are aluminum and which ones are steel? wouldn't the steel barrels make the rifle very front heavy?

I called Canada Customs the other day and they said that any gun part may be brought across the border no problems except for a receiver. The receiver must be imported and registered.

sshewchuk, I see that you are new to the forums here. You need to obtain an export permit from the u.s. gov't to legally export a barrel out of the u.s. This has been talked about quite a bit here. I believe it's in a sticky at the top of the legalese section. It doesn't matter if it's legal at the cdn border, you are still breaking the law in the u.s, if you purchase a barrel in the states. go through the legalese section... all the info you will need is there.
