Who has one? Noticeable improvement over the stock trigger?
Can anyone attest to improvements in accuracy over the stock trigger after installing a BX?
Thanks

i have one, it is a definite improvement over the stock trigger.
it is what all the 10/22's SHOULD come with from the factory.
its not a Timney or a Kidd or a VQ but it is better than the stock one.

For the money I’d rather spend on a VQ kit for the existing factory trigger. The BX trigger really is a stupid product from the consumers perspective, a slightly better version of what already comes with the gun? Really? Ruger should just use that one in the first place, but people pay extra for such things so why not? They aren’t that impressive and aren’t an upgrade when it comes to the quality of the actual parts.

For the a little less than the price of the BX, I have had great results using a DIY trigger kit from Power Custom, and for a little more with a KIDD kit; I'd rather do it myself, than pay a premium for a small factory improvement.

I'd say the BX is a decent upgrade for a stock rifle, but with further modifications a Timney or single-stage KIDD is worth the extra $$

Not sure how the bx isn't on every new rifle ruger makes. Let's make an improvement then sell an upgrade for our own product.....seriously not more expensive to produce just a little different. Capitalism at its finest. That said I have have one

I fiddled with about 10 at cabelas and every single one felt different. Some had a crisp break but were a heavier weight pull and some were mushy, with tons of creep and a lower weight pull. Almost all of them had over travel. Don't get me wrong, most of the ones I tried were a marked improvement over a stock unit...then again that isn't saying much.
Personally I've had excellent results with timney.

I fiddled with a couple at the local crappy tire. Wasn't super impressed honestly, and as previously mentioned they were all different. May look to the kidd trigger kit instead.
