Just came back from shooting my Christmas present. A 10/22 Standard becomes my first rimfire as well as my first rifle. I specifically wanted to go cheap with the standard model because I want to accessorize the hell out of it. Any Canadian connections for cool stuff ?

p.s. A web site for a Canadian supplier would help me window shop before ordering up a ton of stuff that I have to hide the cost of from my wife

Try Wholesale sports in AB and Russels. They are more expensive than the states but in some peoples opinion, more legal. Also, most smaller gunshops have stuff that isnt advertised such as Shooters Choice in Waterloo. There is a Volquartsen's dealer in Edmonton, I think milarm but I am not sure. VQ has a good web site to look at for ideas. The best advise is to go to www.rimfirecentral.com and check out all the options and then find the canadian supplier for the products you want.

WARNING: this is very addictive and expensive, like 3X the value of the gun expensive after a year and wanting another 200USD trigger group!

Good idea on the "rimfirecentral.com" canadiankestrel. I actually found them last night after posting my topic. I bookmarked a bunch of site's that I found there but would probably prefer to shop in Canada.

I've ordered from HawkTech in the past. They have a great selection of 10/22 stuff, and they are fast and inexpensive. Free shipping to Canada. I had no problems at all importing the parts.
