Any tips on how to the 10/22 bolt buffer pin out? I can't get it out using a hammer and punch. I even tried putting RemOil on it for 2 hours and didn't help. It's a new rifle and it's stuck in there... !?

not sure, but maybe its stuck one way? try both sides?

also, from experience(not on that specific gun), strongly support the large part(in this case the reciever), so that all the energy from the punch is put into the buffer, not into moving the reviever.

Short punch as well, no harmonic bending/twisting. Make sure you hold the punch exactly centered and 90deg straight up.

firm smack too with the hammer, no princess taps :D

Grab a can of compressed air, hold it upside down, and blast the pin from inside the receiver until it's frosty. Maybe line the receiver with a few strips from a cereal box to limit how cold the aluminum gets.

Better to have trouble getting that pin or any of the others out, than having them falling out on you every time u take it apart.
What a pain...

i prefer using a chopstick to smack mine out, if it hit it too hard the chopstick will break before anything else probably could
