Hi Guys,

This has been a long time in the making. Some pics:

Photo of Christies Super Stock I got for Christmas and and ported barrel I got off ebay:

Finished product:

Photo of forend grip and rails - the stock included the grip and three rails. The grip is very sturdy with no wiggle. It has a water tight storage compartment.

Photo of barrel and comp. The stock is designed for a regular 10/22 barrel, so I had to dremel out the barrel channel and the handguard channel (also comes with the stock). I went slow and it wasn't difficult.

Photo of collapsable portion of the stock. It has a removable rubber cheek piece (for those that don't want to use a scope) and a removable rubber butt pad. Underneath the pad is another water tight storage compartment.

I am impressed with the Christie's product:bthumb: . The stock is very solid and I could detect no flex in it. I have owned ATi and Choate stocks and I consider Choate a far superior product. The Christie's Stock appears to be made from similar material as the Choate and seems equal in quality. The pistol grip, though odd looking, is comfortable and puts the trigger right at the pad of my trigger finger..perfect. It also has a storage compartment.

No other Mods yet..but I have plans!!! Range report later this week!:Blasting_ :Blasting_

Range Report: I took the rifle to the range and tested it. Burned through about half a brick of Federal in the process. The new barrel seemed to be plenty accurate for my needs and was shooting about four inches high and an inch left ....quickly adjusted it and I soon shot the center out of the target...I couldn't get down to any fine shooting as I was with my buddy but it was right where I wanted it to be. The stock preformed great. It shouldered well and with the vertical front grip was very stable for offhand shooting. Our range has a very large circular saw blade (one used in the lumbar industry) at 200 yards that we use as a gong. Once we got the elevation right we were able to lob rounds very consistently onto the gong from a standing position. I have never fired a rifle with vetical front grip before but I was much more steady off hand shooting than I thought possible. My buddy was raving about the stock and I had lots of interested gawkers wondering what type of rifle I was firing

All I need now are some TI mags because my new barrel does not like the BC mags I have......poor me

Very nice Clobber! However, the grip looks a little funny.

If it was me, I'd want to modify that a bit, to make it look more like an AR-15.

Also, I'd think about a drum mag. That front grip is begging the gun to go Tommy Gun style!

Awesome!

I handled one in a store a month back and totally fell in love with it.
It had a very solid feel to it.

In fact this stock pushed me over the edge towards a 10/22 build.
I'm starting with the stock, then working up piece by piece.

Thank you for the review. :)

I'm not trying to hijack Clobersaurus's post, but I wanted to show what I did with my stock.(plus afew other parts)
