So I have an old 10/22, and I mean old, seen a gazillion rounds and could probably be replaced. but it was great gramps and its still as accurate as ever. But lately it gives alot of grief, never any FTF's but alot of FTE, taken it apart cleaned and inspected but cant seem to find any issues, Tried numerous types of ammunition aswell and new mags. My question is what should I try and replace? charging handle and recoil spring maybe? Any input is appreciated

Replace the extractor is really all you need. I bet you're extractor lip is worn out to the point its having a hard time to extract. The lip should be sharp and not rounded over. I had a cooey model 38 single shot .22 thats extractor was so worn out, you had to use a knife to dig the case out.

Time for a Tune up.
I have a gun like yours ... I mean Had, I added new extractor and spring and new firing pin and spring. Work like a new one, probably even better.
I got my parts from Selectfire 10/22 in the US he ship to Canada.

Exact edge extractor would be first on the list.

Then look at the other suggestions. But really 10/22 parts are cheap and easy to source so I would get most of what people are suggesting and do a proper tune-up.
