Wondering if anyone else has had these issues with their 10/22. Mine only has about 400 rds through it and when I was plinking today started getting jams...noticed they were empties that had failed to eject properly.

I've attached some pics. Any recommendations?

Clean and lube the receiver internals.
Clean the barrel (don't lube).
When shooting, do not free-recoil,
but hold the stock solid in your shoulder.

You will be fine.

I have this in all my 10/22s and recommend it to anyone that has one.

Good idea to get the hammer while your there too. It makes quite a difference.

First 500 rounds through mine were ok with a few of those stove pipes, about 1-5 every 25 rounds. This continued until about 4k rounds. it now functions perfectly.

However it always worked perfectly with quality 40grain ammo. cheap stuff doesn't have the umph to work it properly. Mine still does this with 36 grain ammo.

Thanks for the replies!

Gonna try cleaning it first to see if that works, never thought a 10/22 would be that picky, but you never know. I thought the ammo I was using might have contributed to the problem too...Federal 36gr (Walmart's finest). Once I've finished those boxes, I'll get some hotter stuff to see what kind of a difference it makes.

They require import permit, what's that?

Only if you go over $500 in parts. It's got something to do with US government export laws.

I've ordered from them many times with no problems. Usually my bill comes in under $100. Best bet is buy the Volquartsen hammer, with buffer & auto-bolt release kit and then the extractor - bill comes to $96.93 - bought some last week for an SR-22 I have coming in. In my opinion the best $100 you ever put into a 10/22.
