Good for you on the quitting smoking. Its damn hard to do. I been quit now for so long I cant remember. Almost 20 years. My wife nagged me to death till I quit. Its so weird as I was thinking yesterday about when I installed Volquartzen extractors in both my 10/22 and was thinking of that little plunger and if it could be made. Sorry I cant help you but I know it would be easy for that sucker to get away.

I know this is a horse left the barn comment but you should always do all your bolt assembly/disassembly in a large plastic bag, I use a ziplock. As to getting a new plunger check with http://www.snapshotsguns.com/. They are the Ruger warranty/parts depot for Canada.
