10/22 firing pin

Hey guys
just wanted to ask if anyone has replaced firing pin and spring?
if so who did you order from and did you notice a difference.
I did a full takedown of my rifle yesterday all down to firing pin , cleaned nice nice and before I knew it dropped the spring and to make matters worse I was standing just outside garage getting fresh air and pin dropped into leaves beside me....
used magnet and found it two minutes later thanks to wifey....
anyways thought having extra parts might be good and or replace with new and keep old ..

I replace my firing pin and extractor with Volquartsen everytime I buy a new 10/22

I have a VQ firing pin and spring as well. I got the spring from Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. I bought the pin at Milarms.

I can't honestly say I notice a differnce but you can see the higher quality in craftsmanship plane as day!!!

I've heard stories of people trying to get one out of Ruger. Don't go there. There lies madness.
