10/22 FTEject when cycling manually

I noticed that once in a while the chambered round won't eject when I actuate the bolt charging handle.

I'm not firing, just cycling through rounds to see how some of my mags feed.

I guess it doesn't really matter, just don't like the fact that one can still be chambered after cycling the charging handle to try to clear it..

I thinks it's because they rely on blowback to eject a round ?Maybe a new extractor if your concerned about it. Mine does the same but functions 100% Normaly.

cycle it faster and they should come out. When fired, the ejecting case is moving a lot faster and weighs a lot less than than a manually cycled loaded cartridge.

also the bullet might be engraving into the rifling, that problem occurs a lot worse on a bentz or match chamber
