So I was putting in my auto bolt release tonight and managed to trigger the hammer in the process. Wham right into the tip of my finger! That little b!tch has some force!

anyhoo, I dried my tears and managed to carry on but I noticed the bolt release is quite sloppy compared to stock. Everything functions fine but it flops in and out a fair bit when the bolt is closed.

Does anyone with one of these installed find the same thing or did I maybe screw something up?

You probably forgot to put the spring over top the bolt release. I did the same mistake when I modded mine. I will never make that mistake again.

That spring that goes on the same pin as the hammer has a little bent part on it. Make sure that goes over top the bolt release lip that has the little groove in it.

Ahh ok, I'm sure that's the problem. Thanks Nonus.

I just used a file and fixed up the factory one....

Had I known how little was needed to make it work I'd have too. I'm going to mod the stock one now so I can use it in the next one I buy.
