10/22 Knoxx Axiom Stock

I'm thinking of one of these for my new 10/22 ( why do I sell them, I just buy a new one down the road). I want an inexpensive adjustable stock for different size kids.

The question is, how are they for optics? I want to mount a red dot on it but the stock looks like it may not have a great cheek weld for optics.

Like I said, it's fine and through amazon.ca, it's $20 or more less than retail gun stores.

I got a mine from amazon, have a 3-9x40 scope mounted with medium height rings and it works well, Not sure what a dot sight would be like on it as it would be a little lower than a scope.
