10/22 mag adapter

I used the 2nd gen fibre printed ones they had. Those seemed to work, the the magazines were the culprit with unreliable feeding. Tried everything and just could not get them to work properly. The alum ones I have not tried, but they should work.
I gave up this on this route and just buy the receivers now to use the TUFF mags, and never looked back. Dlask and now SBI make the receivers, and SBi have the coloured ones, which I can verify work with the Tuff mags. Hc3R mags really with the added nub to work in the receiver and not the ruger stock ones.

You could always just buy the new receiver and sell your old one. Re use all the parts. There are always guys looking for the used receivers. I think the cost of the adapter and magazines is about the same as replacing the receiver, selling your old one and buying some TUFF magazines.

I purchased the aluminum one from spectre; and as wallz says, it's the rem mags. Spectre suggests a "breakin" procedure. It seems like more of a "get your ruger (gun) and rem (mags) to get to know one another". LOL
In my 3 relatively highly modded 10/22s, the adaptor and 4 22 rd mags (that I have) function 100%.
