Hey guys. I have a spectre ballistics 597 magazine adaptor that I have used since buying the gun. The ramp is wearing quite aggresively where the bullet tip rides it and jams the gun on 70% of the time. Maybe 1000rnds through it. Cleaning up the ramp with a file has helped a bit but not enough. Anyone else come into this problem and come up with a solid solution to correct it.

Yes. Get rid of that piece of junk and mod the receiver to take Tuf-22 mags. That's what I did.
I would prefer to not have to dump a bunch more money into new magazines unless absolutely necessary. I was thinking more along the lines of a recessed sleeve of steel ~0.060 thou thick bolted to the adaptor with some m2/m3 countersunk screws to hold it in. A light touch with the dremel to remove enough material for the steel to sit flush and drill and tap from the front face of the adaptor. Countersink the holes in the steel on the inside face for flush screws. Bend the plate and file the top edge to match original profile. Should only take an hour or two.
That could certainly work.
Another option might be to relieve the feed ramp area a bit and glue a plastic piece in to take it's place. Might be easier to try something like that first.
Following, as my aluminum adapter for my 10/22 no longer reliably feeds. I admit I have not looked at it too closely. I'm currently just running 10 round butler creek magazines, but would like the option to go back to the 25 round Remington 597 mags.
