10/22 Mag Loader

I had a butler creek loader it worked great with BC mags but always had trouble with the first round when using ruger mags. It certanly loaded a lot faster once you got the hang of it and kept my thumbs a lot cleaner. I had the loader for 8 years and it still functioned perfectly. If your the kind of shooter that fires a brick or two its worth it. I dont shoot as much as i used to and found the BC mags seem to become less reliable with age and use.

I have used the Butler Creek and the HC3R loaders. But only on the respective magazines. I found that neither worked well to load Ruger mags, both the 10 round or the BX-25 would be problematic.

anyone carrying those up here or did you get from Brownells?
I just ordered from them directly, yesterday. You have to contact them and Debbie will give you a quote. Lightnin grip loader and two adapters with shipping was $55 US. They don't work with factory mags for the 10/22.

Before our 10/22 mags got neutered I was considering a tool like this but now I feel so defeated I just load my mags by hand one round at a time... lol
