Where can i get theses?
Butler creek steel lip (25)or any brand of drum(50)
They are are hard to find in stock

I believe "hical" has some drum mags on thier site. So does "mystic precision", both are board sponsors and good people.

As far as I have read the various drum mags are kinda hit and miss. Some have had great luck, others nothing but trouble.

The Butler Creek Steel Lips 25 rounders are pretty reliable though, plus they are relatively cheap and easy to come by.

Valley Combat & Tactical in Abbotsford, BC carries them, they don't sell online though, if you contact they will do phone sales.

That being said, I have a 1022 50rd drum and it is the biggest pain in the ass to load, and when you get less then 12 or 13 rounds the lack of pressure can cause it to jam frequently...I would say stick with butler creek 25rd mags with steel lips!

Ruger actually makes their own 25 rnd magazine now.
I just read in a gun magazine somewhere that it feeds the rounds in at the same (proper) angle that the original 10 round rotary mag does. Apparently all the aftermarket brands do not.
That sounds like your best option.

The bx-25's are made for the rifle AND the pistol and as such must be pinned to 10 rounds for those that managed to get them before they were deemed prohib.... Retarded I know.

Man I didn't know that about the bx-25's.. that is beyond lame. What law enforcement officers would actually check the brand, or even know about that?
Come to think of it if they saw any tacticool 10/22 with a big mag the owner would probably be dragged off in cuffs and treated like a dirtbag regardless of what the rules are or aren't.

It's even more ridiculous because a recent trip to a local outfitter, I discovered that Butler Creek mags actually say on the package, that they're compatible with the Charger pistol. I thought what made the BX-25s so "evil" is that they said on the package that they're also compatible with the Ruger Charger.
