10/22 Magnum: Can you just buy......

An action and trigger group somewhere? I want to build a custom .17, and there is little point in me buying a compplete gun if these are the only parts I'm going to use. (unless I find a cheap used one)

I know the pain , But I ended up having to buy a new 10/22m as finding a used one is next to imposable . I made mine a HB 22mag ,but it is an expensive toy as a new 10/22m is $519+tax, $200+ new barrel,$150+ stock.......etc you get me

Not likely. I had to order my 10/22 mag from out of province. I ended up giving it away for Christmas. I was fairly pleased though, once I got the VQ extractor. Wholesale Sports might have some left. They don't sell super fast from what I can tell.

As much as I dont like remington and there 597's , I have heard good reveiws on there HeavyBarrel 17hmr and for the price ,I might even buy one

i think ill wait for the norico , before i build my .17hmr project gun. hopefully they make the 10/22 mag.
