Hello All,

Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a 10/22 barrel that matches the exact dimensions of the std. factory barrel? I have a 10/22 International that I love, but I would like to put a better barrel on it without swapping out the stock.

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help

Cheers,

Corey

Clark has discontinued the factory tapered barrels, VQ makes one only if you are using the carbine stock, and Douglas does not even chamber for the 22 rimfire.

I want a contour and length to match the existing barrel so that I do not have to touch the existing international (ie full) stock.

I think you are asking the wrong guys...you know more about it then they do.:D

If you look at the Douglas webpage under chambering the section that shows 22 LR = no chambering kind of gives it away. If Douglas does rimifre barrels they sure have hidden it in their webpage.

The Shilen barrels are only 16" long, which is no good. Yet again, I want a barrel that matches the outside dimesnions of the std profile 18 1/2" barrel so that when I put it in the INTERNATIONAL stock it will fit exactly.

he makes the barrels he just does not chamber them...

after some searching your best bet is to get a sporter barrel from Green mountain which is 20" long and get it cut to length by a gun smith.

thats your best option..... other then that your screwed....
