10/22 parts and what to get

I just was able to pic up used 10/22 in ecellent condition and want to put together something that is very accurate. Can you guys advise what are the essentials and where I can order in Canada or the US if that possible.

1. The most important is a bull barrel either 16-20 "
2. Hogue ovemolded stock.
3. Extractor
4. extended mag release
5. Bolt buffer

If there is anything else I missed can you guys please advise. I do not want to go all out but want to purchase good products that will give me the accuracy I want.

Congrads!! You can get some of your items your looking for from rimfire sports and custom in the US. I would also add a target hammer and a trigger with the over travel adjustment. If your handy you can add a set screw yourself and polish the hammer to reduce the trigger pull. Checkout Rimfirecentral.com, they have tons of info on 1022s.

i've been doing the same thing with a 10/22

hogue stock
stainless heavy barrel
weaver rail mount
scoped


the one thing i really noticed,especially after,was how bad the stock trigger is.
if i was to do this again,i would make a trigger job one of the top priorities,if not the top.

Happines...thanks for the link. I've been thinking about getting a "black/tactical" sniper rimfire or building one.
Really like the Voquartsen finished rifles packages but they can't ship them to Canada. Are these a "good deal"
or can you build one better & cheaper. Are they available from a Canadian source?

I spoke with Scott Voquartsen last year. The're still trying to get a distributor to cary there firearms. I think B&D Enterprises is now an authorized dealer, but haven't seen any firearms listed yet.
