Has anyone encountered rounds not extracting when adding a new barrel? i added a dlask bull barrel and now none of the rounds will extract dry or fired. any suggestions on how to fix it? could it just need a edge extractor instead of the factory? any help would be great thanks.
 
sounds like the barrel is not seated properly. can you take it off, and put back on, rotate it, make sure extractor groove lines up? just a guess. (doubt new extractor is the issue).
 
I put a 22" barrel on on of my 10/22s and had the same problem at first. Although the jams were intermittent for me.
This had me not knowing if it was the ammo or the new addition.
The good news was it went away after 50-75 rounds or so.
Might just be a break in thing?

Some barrels have tighter chambers (benz reamed etc.) for target ammo.

Try some Lapua , Eley , or Dynamit Nobel etc. see wha hoppens -

I just installed a Dlask barrel with no issues shooting American Eagle CP HP and various other brands. Did not like cyclones, but those where feed issues, not FTE issues.

The barrel was a tight fit. I ended up heating the receiver with a hair drier to get it to fit easier. My bet is it isn't seating properly.
