10/22 Rail for Open Sights

Looking to use Detachable rings on my 10/22.

Want a rail that doesn't block the rear sight. (or even can be used as the rear sight)


I remember somebody had one, but I checked lots of websites and couldn't find it.

Anybody know if who make's one, or where to find one? Or is it a mill job on a factory one and shorten the screw.

That's the idea! That one seems/looks pretty tall though. Is it the same height as a facotry rail with a slot, or is it taller?

Seems like that one is made to see through with the scope on and is higher.

Not quite.

Just looking for a standard rail with a groove down the middle so the sights can be seen with the rail mounted and no scope(rings) mounted.

They are the only affordable mount I found that allows use of the rear sight on the 10/22.
