10/22: Redux

So far so good. I've had this thing out in the cold and snow, had it damp etc. It looks the same as the pics posted. The raw alloy is holding up A-OK. :D

Aaaand still nothing. I think the mix that ruger cooked up for their aluminum alloy is pretty resistant. Looks the same as in the pics.
 
It would. Aluminum oxidizes only a few microns thick and with a matte finish, you'd never tell.

I recently stripped the paint off mine as well. I have a friend who does anodizing, so I'll get him to do it. I can't decide between gunmetal blue (to match a blued steed barrel), or just leaving it like it is
