I recently bought a Ross Featherweight Thumbhole stock from Boyds with the intentions of building a nice light "everyday" shooter.
I purchased the stock with a factory barrel channel in Autumn laminate and added a factory stock bolt to the receiver that was polished, head spaced to .0425", jeweled and had a V.Q extractor installed along with a TB buffer rod and a Tactical Inc. over-sized charging handle.
For the trigger group, I used a Tac. Inc. aluminum frame, trigger and mag release in satin gold.
I added a Power Customs competition hammer & sear, polished the internals & used SS shims to tighten up the trigger pre-travel and drilled/tapped the trigger for an over-travel screw.
I finished it off with a stock matte black barrel and a Williams rear peep site with a Williams red fiber optic front site.
Next...gotta try firing it.
I hope you enjoy.
