10/22 rUGER

Hey guys...I am looking at getting into the modified world of Rugers. If you were going to modify one which rifle is the best to start with. I want to change barrel and trigger assembly and add some other bling. I have a Ruger 10/22 target but don't really want to modify it. Any help or websites would be awesome. I am a bit of a rookie.......

Ruger standard model for $249 most places. You can usually get a few bucks back selling factory parts as long as you not greedy. Factory stock $25, factory barrel(zero rounds) $35-40 moves them pretty quick. Or if the extra $$ aren't needed keep them and you have a fresh stock setup if you ever decide to sell that will still have it's value at $200-225.
