Hello All,

I've been checking things out for a while. Haven't found what I'm looking for so here's my first post.
My questions are to anyone who has or has knowledge of the Running Boar barrels.
How do they fit the wooden stock standard 10/22? How do you like yours?
I've found a 22" by GM and a 16.5" by VQC. Are there any other manufacturers of this type of barrel?
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks.

A user who doesn't seem to frequent cgn had a running boar barrel on his 10/22 and I beleive he said he had to do some small in-letting for it to properly fit.
I'll see if I can find the post.

Thanks Lone-wolf,

It looks almost a tad long for the stock. Like a Kentucky Squirrel gun;). Wondering still what the accuracy would be? Comparable to a low end bull barrel?
Does anyone have the VQC model? They are selling them.

Try rimfirecentral.com, Americans and Canadians(including some CGNers) on there, with a lot of experience.
I'm searching there right now, I'll see if I can find a post to save ya some work.

A search there will provide you with a lot of threads to look through.

This is all great info. Thanks to all.
I'll be using this rifle for pest and rodent control (squirrels, Gophers, skunks, vermin, etc.) and maybe even somethings edible. It looks like the GM barrel may be the winner here just based on cost unless a great deal happens on some other brand. This is still going be a winter project to be ready for spring. If anyone has anything to add, feel free, the more the better.

Thank-You CGN members,:)
