10/22 Scope Mounting. How low can you go?

Well, I think I've got mine pretty darn low, but I'm wondering if anyone else has gone lower. Using some 50-ish-year-old Weaver strap rings and a standard Ruger scope base, I managed to get the scope .320" above the receiver. Anyone else done better? I'd love to almost Co-witness the scope with the rear sight. The lower the better!

Also, with that scope setup and the abysmal factory trigger, I was consistently printing 1" 10-shot groups at 50 yards. The thing sure shoots well.

Seriously? Nobody is trying to go super low? That's unfortunate.

A low DNZ Reaper mount might be lower than your setup? Looks very close though.
