Just wondering what you guys mounted to your 10/22? I have a Stainless receiver with a Butler Breek SS target barrel and Butler Creek Stock (black). I am planning to get a bi-pod to switch between my Savage 17HMR and my 10/22.

I was thinking about the following:

- Bushnell Legend 5-15x40mm Mil dot $225.00
- Bushnedd Banner Dusk & Dawn 6-18x50mm multi x rectile $175.00
- Simmons 2.8-10x44mm $240.00
- Tasco 10-40x50mm $200.00
- Bushnell 3200 10x40mm mil dot $240.00
- Bushnell 3200 3-9x40mm multi x rectile $240.00

Lot's of choices but just wondering what you thought.

I use Bushnell Banner 4 X 12 X 40 AO scopes on my .22 rimfires, they work very well for me. You have to take into account that most 3 X 9 scopes have their parrallex set for between 100 and 150yds.

I have a 3.5-10X40 Bushnell that I might sell, it seems as though the Parallax is set around 50yds. Come to think of it, I took it off of a 10/22 that I bought on CGN. I had it on a centerfire only long enough to see that it was not the best for shooting over 100 yds as it was designed for a rimfire.

Any scope that goes on a rimfire should have AO.
I'd like to try the Elite 10X40 mil dot, looks good and with target knobs BUT no AO. Without an adjustable objective, you are at a disadvantage.

I have a cheapy bushnell 'rimfire' scope and it works great up to about 75 meters for me...stock carbine no HB or anything. The rings it can with are bad...this rifle is a pure plinker so I am not to concerned with MOA...

I use a Bushnell Banner 4-12X40AO with Burris Signature Zee rings. Works great for me. I aways leave the magnification at 12X when shooting at or past 50 yards.

As a few other guys have already mentioned, try to pick a scope specifically for rimfires, otherwise the parallax adjustment will most likely be for 100 yards or more.

Power choice would depend on what you plan on using your 10/22 for mostly. I have an unmodified 10/22 that is the same as it was when I got it 25 years ago. I've had a few different scopes on it, but now it has a Weaver Classic Rimfire straight 4X. My 10/22 is used mostly for plinking and gopher shooting, and I find that 4X works great. But maybe I'm a bit old fashioned!

I use AO scopes on both my rimfires. Bushnel 4X AO air gun scope on my 10/22 and a Simmons 4-12X AO on my bolt gun. In winter time all my shooting is on a 20yd indoor range, thus the AO.:)
