10/22 Shooting Gongs at 200 Yards - Video

Thanks guys. It's a 10" target so I only needed to be shooting 5 MOA which turns out is quite easy to do. :)

The 10/22 has a "Target" trigger group (about a 2.5 lbs trigger pull), a VQ extractor and aside from the stock, that's about it. The barrel is a stock 16" from a "Compact".

I was shooting Winchester DynaPoints which tend to shoot right around 2 MOA out of my rifle. I'm doing some experimentation with CCI Blazers with good results so far. I managed a 1/2 MOA 5 shot group at 50 yards today, (Yeah yeah, I know... "internet sniper", right? Whatever; if I'da had the camera rolling I would have proof but I didn't, so believe what you want. :p ) but I haven't repeated it yet so it may have just been a fluke. Back to the range tomorrow for some more testing. (and maybe I'll leave the camera running just in case...) ;)

1/2 inch at 50 yards (1 MOA) is what I'm really hoping for on a regular basis so maybe the 1/4 inch (1/2 MOA) group is an indication that I just might get lucky. :) I've never considered this rifle a tack-driver, but kept it around because it is a heck of a lot of fun to shoot. Perhaps now I can keep because it's accurate too! :D

Blazers

Ny 10/22 Target Tactical loves the Blaszers and functions flawlessly with them! !/2 inch groups at 50m are common with them.

Funny how .22's can be. I was out on the weekend with my Norinco. I'm lucky to get 10 MOA with blazers, but I can get 3/8 groups at 50 yds. with the plain Win. Hi Velocity.
