10/22 sling options

Hey guys,
been taking the ruger out for some gophers recently and finally decided it was time for a sling, but my rifle, the basic composite stock carbine doesnt even have studs on it for a sling. How can i go about slinging this thing??

i think the simplest thing would be a new barrel band kit, something like this:
(should not cost more than $15)

......or drill holes and add sling studs if you don't have/want a barrel band.
