We've just received a few Ruger 10/22 Sporters with gorgeous French Walnut stocks. These have a very premium feel, with deep checkering in the grip and forend.

Order around 8 am B.C. time - CFRO email about the PAL query a couple hours later, shipping label by noon, picked up by Canada Post in the afternoon. Awesome!!!! thanks
 
How's the wood looking on these rifles? Advertisement pictures look great and very tempting, just worried about being catfished lol

Very true! Each of the ones we have shipped out are a little different than the next, but they're all gorgeous. Extremely smooth finish and firm checkering.
 
Received my rifle but unfortunately there is a defect in the stock finish... Anyone else have this same issue where it looks shattered?

I'm surprised these stocks are lacquered instead of oiled.
Even more surprised to see they used old school lacquer instead of polyurethane clear coat. When I've gotten cracks that fine it's because I've used too much thinner in the lacquer.

Gravel Agency now handles all the Ruger warranty concerns.

I would nicely ask for a stock replacement.......:)

Thanks man, i'm going to call today. I sent a message to western last thursday and still hadn't heard anything back. It seems they're all sold out now too so i doubt they woudl have been able to do anything for me

No worries, most warranty issues are handled by the brand specific Canadian Warranty Centers.

The dealers occasionally assist with this but not always. It depends on the problem.

Good luck on your stock replacement, I'm sure Ruger and Gravel Agency will take care of you......:)

They could arrange to return the rifle and refund your purchase price.....

They called me back and offered that actually. But then that would leave me without a 10/22, and it seems these ones with the french walnut stock were a limited run (1000 total) and are not available elsewhere.
