10/22 tactical solutions barell thread question

does anyone know for SURE, what the thread is on these barells? i have one, and someone said 1/2 X 28 tpi, i have this tap, but it doesnt seem to thread into the end cap very nicely. can someone who is positive please lend a hand here? thanks alot. jdman.

1/2x28 ... should be a 3 fit,check what grade of fit your tap is

how do you tell what grade? the numbers on it are 1/2-28 nef, HS G H3, USA E1005 do these tell you anything?

1/2x28 only comes in a National Extra Fine(nef),H3 is the grade of fit( Plus 0.0010" to Plus 0.0015")
That should be the same tap it was cut with,it must be really sharp and just catching edges.
