I'm in the market for a 10/22.

My ideal build would be a wood stock/16" bull barrel based on looks alone.

The 'Tactical' comes with a Hogue stock/16" barrel, and the 'Target' comes with a wood stock/20" barrel.

Which would have the higher accuracy out of the box?

Price wise, either model seems slightly cheaper than building my own from a standard 10/22.
I can go either way on stock or barrel length looks wise, and would prefer a more accurate rifle out of the box.

Which would you choose???

The Target model is much nicer than I expected. And readily available unlike the tactical vleh. Buy target model than swap barrel with dlask 16.5, then sell me 20" stock barrel. Cheers

Go with the wood stock option, and later on, acquire a 12.5 inch barrel. The Hogue stock is nice but the wood stock appears to be (structurally) more rigid.
