10/22 Takedowns In EE

I have one. It's OK. I had to buy it. I don't know why, but I did. LOL. Just like I don't know why I have to buy all these parts and build more. I think I have a problem. That one that had the custom heavy barrel on it in the EE was pretty damn cool though! I was tempted!

If anyone knows where to find one in stock at a REASONABLE price, I wouldn't mind a tip. Been thinking of one and got the visa cleared up so why not? Lol

I loved mine, but just ended up getting something with a little more oomph for a trunk gun. I have several .22's, so I had to let one go - my DAR22 is so much more accurate, I kept it for my go-to .22!

is there someone seriously selling their takedown 10/22 for $800? thats robbery...

I saw one with an AGP take down stock (which I didn't even think were available north of the border?), TI mag, trigger bits, and a SPARC for $835, which isn't really that crazy? I'm not saying it's an amazing deal, but it's not like it's a completely factory take down.

but you know, for a seller asking $800 and some schmuck willing to pay that, a fella could buy himself a direct from the factory .22lr for the same amount of money, plus just as accurate, if not more accurate. some of those aftermarket 10/22 stocks are so butt-ugly that the only way I could own one would be to blind fold myself to avoid gouging my own eyes due to ugliness...and yes, I for one consider asthetics to be important when purchasing a firearm.

I think the only thing that needs replaced on the takedown or any 10/22 are the sights. I replaced the trigger as well, because I'm not fond of plastic trigger guards. Beyond that, you're just throwing money away on a takedown. It's a pack/ utility/camp gun, not a target gun, not a battle rifle.

Id pay scalpers for Stones tickets, but a 10/22, not bloody likely.

Got my takedown from the EE, never fired, with a bunch of extras for $350 shipped. Sold the extras for $100 after I paid the shipped so the gun in stock form including 2 spare 10 round mags only cost me $250.

Id been looking for a proper deal on one for a LONG time. I just couldn't justify paying $100-150 more than a base 10/22 for a version that essentially just splits in half but otherwise does the same thing. Luckily, I got this one for about the same as a new base model AND its stainless...
