Okay. I know tapco make their intrafuse stock to suit target/bull barrels. But they're not as easily available as the standard model.

My question is, how hard is it to modify the standard barrel tapco stock to make it fit an aftermarket barrel? Thanks!

I turned a Buttler Creek stock made for a standard barrel into a bull barrel stock. It wasnt hard at all just slightly time consuming. Just find a wooden dowel that is roughly the same size as your target barrel and keep on pulling it through until you get the desired fit. Unfortunately unlike wood, sanded plastic will not give you the same fit and finish as one that was ment to be.

I did it, it was quite easy. Everyone might cringe at the way I did it though. I found one of these

that was approxemently the right size, and welded a longer shank on it and put it in a drill and went at it... slowly! You have to go from each side so you don't go to far to one side. I just kept at it until the barrel fit it perfectly.

x2 on the dowel method. I pinned a new forend on one of my air rifles and had to make the channel for the chamber that way. It took a long time, my arms got very tired, but I eventually got it done. I tried initially using a dremel with a sanding drum to rough it out, but i was using oak and they wore out a little quick.

The one problem you might have is that you'd have to go super slow even by hand so as not to heat the plastic. If it starts to melt, it will load/ruin the sandpaper quite quickly
