Looking at one of these options for my first 10/22. Not interested in a build at the moment. Curious if anyone has experience with either and what your thoughts are. I will be bench rest shooting so weight is not a concern. Thanks.

I bought myself a VLEH. First 10/22 ever. Topped with a cheapie cabelas scope.
Very fun little rifle, seems accurate enough, still testing brands and etc.

Bought it specifically to practice with. I've put a tougher buffer and a trigger over travel limit screw just for my own enjoyment. Factory Hogue stock is quite nice, but the barrel clearance was...poor, considering there was minor contact on the left near the end., bipod is GARBAGE so it instantly got swapped for a Caldwell.

It does work flawlessly, 1 jam of Win.Wildcats in about 5
600 rounds of mixed ammo.

I found it a bit pricey, and after the fact Id personally probably have rathered to try and build something.

I have owned a few Target models and liked them all. I sold the last one to get a custom Dlask build to squeeze max accuracy. A friend of mine has the VLEH and is very happy how well it shoots.

Why not a dlask? They make some nice stuff for not much more than the ones your interested in
