i'll get you caught up to speed...

interested-in-thompson-M1928A1-but-can't-get-one-prohibited-status-someone-recommended-10/22-"dress-up"

now that i've caught you up- where the heck can a canadian get one these kits? they exist- 'cause from the digging i've done online, i found a company in the states that makes the kit, but they don't export.
and i did hear about a company in montreal that was making kits, but apparently they've gone silent, and there's absolutely no record of them online.
so i was thinking "what section of the CGN would yield the most results to this question i've been having?"
"RIMFIRE of course!"

so what have ye?

Fabsports used to sell a Canadian kit. Out of stock now, made by a fellow CGN'r. A few turn up on the EE, but they're not cheap.keep yourveyes open. ;)

here is the one I got from fabsports, it is fun to play with...you get some interest from people while at the range...

Wow that's really nice when did they make those and when and why did they stop ? Also how much do they go for (people selling them) ?

For many reasons :

- It's not profitable, win around 30 $ each kit

- Machinist want only made big qty (50 unit), need pay all the batch (more than 20 000 $ with fake mags), finally when it's here customers say kit are too expensive and fun gun kit in USA are lower price...

Oniy fun (like I made FS556 before) for put his name on history and the challenge and now these kits are collector :p

And now you have VTR, SR22 and all other.

Ya Fab is right about manufactors thinking our market is way to small for this type of product.
BUT HELL THEY ARE FUN!!!
