10/22~time for it's own sub-forum?

When a forum surpasses 50% of it's threads about one type of gun, it deserves it's own forum in my opinion. It's not about wanting a place to look at just 10/22's, it's about wanting a place to look at and discuss all non tactical .22's. Including sporter/hunter class 10/22's. Because the rimfire section is becoming a black rimfire forum with the odd non tactical thread. It's absurd.

Well said. I FAR prefer to spend time on a Canadian forum, and among Canadian shooters quite frankly. If the best answer to this idea you have is "go to a different site instead" than I think you've missed my point. I think this is a better site overall, and I spend most of my time here in the rimfire forum, but it's over-saturated with discussions about 10/22s and black guns. I honestly can't see any good argument against a sub-forum for these under the umbrella of the "Rimfire" forum. If you're into those guns, you know where to look. If you're not, you know what to avoid .

Good Friday morning to you all~ 5/8 (approx. 63%) of the first topics in the Rimfire forum have to do with 10/22s today. I don't know of any other forum on CGN that has one make/model dominating the discussions like these rifles do here.

I know I've beaten this topic half to death, but the RF forum is growing incredibly 2 dimensional these days. I think it's only bother me though :bangHead: ...maybe I'm overdue for some outdoor time. :)
 
Not too sure the 10/22 crowd will "see the light" if they end up in their own little dark sub-forum...But, I won't have a chance to pity them unless I go into their world?

In all seriousness, although I'm not a "10/22 guy" I do read about them. I'm also still reeling from the parts and, bits change-over.
