Click to expand... it is the spring that latches keeps the bolt open when you activate the bolt latch. it is not needed to feed, shoot, or extract. only to hold the bolt open when needed.

Click to expand... X3 - never to be found again Then I got a real slick tool from nutter Oldsbill for just this problem Takes about 5 seconds to remove the safety detent/spring and re-install. Life is so much better
