10/22 trigger group : to oil or not to oil?

Now I know it has to be clean. But is it better to run it dry or oiled?

i run both of mine dry, as soon as i oil i run into FTE's

Most just do what works for them.
IF your going to oil, oil only the pivot points and use VERY little of it.

I use Break-Free CLP

That's what I got on hand. Do I leave the oil residue in there or do I blow it out with air?

If it's really dirty with oil & powder residue, I usually spray it down, pull it all apart, clean each piece and put it back together.

How bad is it? Is it acting up?

Not yet... Just that my marauder kit is on the way, and I'd like to be able to get to play with it enough before a complete takedown (read : pain in the a**)
