I am quite handy and mechanical. Polished mine down to about half of original. Guessing 4 pounds? Ordered a stage 2 from brimstone. Makes bx look like garbage. I just bought one from him so I have a spare and didn’t have to ship the original down. My plan was to sell the original to offset cost. It was so good I thought about sending my original in too. Unless your a serious competitor I suspect you would be hard pressed in seeing the value in a 300+ Kidd. Mine has a tiny bit of take up, definite wall and sweet crisp 2 pound break. I was converted from sceptic to fan after receiving mine.
Also what gun tech said. Mine took a bit of time but I like tinkering. Was always scared to go to far and need parts. Just get a brimstone. You’ll forget about the cost once you shoot it.
