After a weekend of balsting :50cal: I realized how I forgot how much fun it was and how bad the stock trigger is. So I want to through a bit of cash at this to fix it.

Is the "Volquartsen Ruger 10/22 High Performance Kit" VC10HP a good upgrade?
It includes the following;
Volquartsen's target hammer (with shims),
target trigger with an overtravel adjustment,
EDM sear and EDM disconnector.
trigger plunger with an improved radius,
trigger plunger spring, and
Volquartsen's special hammer spring.
Vibration dampening bolt stop pin.

Or do i just buy the match hammer ans sear, VC10MHS?

What is the difference between the target and match version, if any?

Any other options that compare and are easy to get?

Thanks

Upgrades are aways good... or you can take apart the stock trigger assembly and sand off all parts to smooth it out.

Take pics to help with the reassembly as it can get hairy.

Do the hammer, sear, torsion spring by yourself. Get rid of the trigger plunger altogether, torsion spring is the way to go. If you are in the least bit "handy" and have access to a propane torch, taps(8/32,10/32) and a drill press, you are in and you can make your own 2# trigger. If you want info PM me your e-mail and I'll send you what I have here and some links that might help also.

I used the power custom matched hammer and sear and I'm happy with the pull weight, about 2lbs. It's cheaper then the VQ kit. Overtravel adjustment on the trigger is a must for me, but the stock one can be tapped for this.
